Grenfell Tower

In 1999 I was with two friends John and Sheila. I turned to John and said 'You have lived many lives before and died many violent deaths, but not in this one'. I then turned to Sheila and said 'I cannot say the same for you'. Her response 'I am off to bed'. I then said to John when Sheila had gone 'I keep getting fire, fire, fire with Sheila. In 2017 on 14th June Sheila died in the Grenfell Tower Tragedy. She lived on the 16th floor flat 132. Amazing coincidences are at school I was in Grenfell House and we both had sons named Adam and years before I had even met Sheila I was circling a road map and circled Latimer Road a place near to where Sheila lived. She was a beautiful soul.
A FLEETING MOMENT – The Cockney Bard
I sit staring at a photograph of Starbucks in Holland Park. A place we would often frequent. I see Sheila and myself sitting on the chairs outside, coffee in hand, talking Politics, Shakespeare, the Knights Templar. I look again and we are gone.
